Account Information

How can I find out what my account number is?

When you join Strategic Trader, you’ll get your account number in the e-mail you receive from us right after you join. You also can find your account number at the bottom of any of our Weekly Update and Trade Alert e-mails. Once you have your account number, you can set up your Username and Password. Your username will be the email address that you used to sign up for Strategic Trader.

If you already have a working personalized Username & Password from another InvestorPlace Media subscription, you do not need to create a new one for Strategic Trader. Your existing Username and Password will work for Strategic Trader for as long as you are a subscriber.

Username & Password Issues

How do I create a Username and Password?

To create a unique Username and Password, you will need your account number and your ZIP code. Your account number can be found at the bottom of our Weekly Updates and Trade Alerts or in the e-mail that you received when you joined Strategic Trader. You can also call Customer Service at 1-800-219-8592 for help. Click here to create your Username and Password now.

My Username and Password aren’t working.

Remember, your Password is case sensitive, so you must type it in exactly the way you set it up.

I forgot my Username and Password. What do I do?

If you’ve forgotten either your Username or Password, we can e-mail them to you at the e-mail address you provided when you signed up. Click here to choose this option.

How do I change my Username and Password?

If you’ve already created a unique Username and Password, click here to change it.

I already gave you an e-mail address when I signed up for the service. Why do I have to give it to you again?

The e-mail you gave us when you created your Username and Password will be used only to send you an e-mail if you forget your Username and Password. For security purposes, we keep this information separate from your other account information, so it’s possible for you to have more than one e-mail address on record with us.

How to Whitelist Our InvestorPlace Email Address

AOL 8.0+

  1. Open the email
  2. Click Add Address icon
  3. Verify the sender’s contact information

AOL Webmail

  1. Click on the Addresses tab in the upper right corner of the Mailbox window
  2. Click on the New drop-down menu and select New Contact
  3. Type the email address of the new contact in the Screen Name field and click the Save button

Earthlink

  1. Open the email
  2. Click Add Sender
  3. Verify that our contact information is correct
  4. Click “Yes”

Entourage

  1. Open the email
  2. Right-click the sender’s email address
  3. Select Add to Address Book in the short-cut menu
  4. Verify the sender’s contact details

Gmail

  1. Open the email
  2. Click on More Options in the upper right-hand corner of the message
  3. Click on Add Sender to Contacts List in the header of the email
  4. A confirmation message will be displayed above the email

Juno

  1. From the mail screen, click on the Address Book tab
  2. Insert the email address you would like to add
  3. Click Quick Add

Mac Mail

  1. Open the email
  2. Right-click the sender’s email address
  3. Click Add to Contacts in the short-cut menu
  4. Click Save and Close

Microsoft Outlook Express 6+

  1. Open the email
  2. Left-click the sender icon, or right-click the sender’s name
  3. Click Add to Contact
  4. Click Save and Close

Microsoft Outlook 2003

  1. Open the email
  2. Select Actions on the toolbar
  3. Select Junk Email from the drop-down menu
  4. Select Add Sender to Safe Senders List
  5. Verify that our contact information is correct and click OK

Microsoft Outlook 2007

  1. Open the email
  2. Click Options on the Tools menu
  3. On the Preferences tab, under Email, click Junk E-mail
  4. Select Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab and click add
  5. Enter the email address of the contact and click OK

Mozilla Thunderbird

  1. Click the Address Book button
  2. Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted
  3. Click the New Card button
  4. Under the Contact tab, copy and paste our address and click OK

MSN Hotmail (Classic)

  1. Open the email
  2. Click Save Address in the menu bar
  3. Verify that our contact information is correct
  4. Click OK on the next screen

Windows Live Hotmail

  1. Adding to the Address Book doesn’t automatically add you to the Safe Sender list; you must mark the sender as Safe
  2. Open the email
  3. Click on the Mark as Safe link

Yahoo! Mail

  1. Open the email
  2. Select the Add to Address Book link
  3. Enter the email address of the contact and click on Save Contact

Others

If you use a webmail system or e-mail application not listed above, the instructions for whitelisting our address will depend on the specific e-mail program you are using. If you access the help files, instruction manual or customer support, there should be instructions on how to do this.

In most cases, adding customerservice@exct.investorplace.com to your address book, safe list, whitelist or contact list will be sufficient.
